Stena Line
Stena Line is one of the world’s biggest ferry operators. The company has a modern fleet of 35 ships and Europe’s largest route network consisting of 18 ferry routes in Scandinavia and around the UK. All together Stena Line has approximately 5,700 employees, about two-thirds of whom work on board ship. The head office is located in Gothenburg. In 2007, 15.9 million passengers and nearly 3 million cars travelled with Stena Line. 1.8 million freight units were transported during the same period.

The Wine Company is a new player on the Swedish on-line wine-trading market. Hawesco Group, which is one of Germany’s largest retailer within the wine segment and had a turnover of 338,5 million Euro in 2009, stands behind the launch. Ticket Privatresor is the largest travel agency chain that offers travels from all leading charter and tour operators, cruise lines and airlines and hotels. Ticket has about 40 per cent of the Swedish travel market in sold charter trips and regular flights packages. Annual sales amount to approximately 4 billion SEK and the company has about 450 employees. Agency works with the current PR for Ticket and also helps to implement the large travel survey Ticket Collection, which takes place twice a year.
Vattenfall
Vattenfall is Europe’s fifth largest electricity producer and the largest heat producer. The corporation’s turnover in 2008 was estimated at 164 million Swedish crowns. The company has approximately 33 000 employees and is one of Sweden’s largest companies from a turnover and employee aspect. Vattenfall AB is 100 percent owned by the Swedish government. Viking Line is the leading passenger transport and shipping company operating in the Baltics. The company started out in 1959 sailing between Finland, Åland and Sweden. Today the company has seven ships running on different routes between Sweden, Åland, Finland and the Baltic States.
