In the fall of 2024, OnePlus put us in charge of PR for their new premium phone OnePlus 13.

Challenge

Releasing yet another phone on the Nordic market meant finding a way to stand out in a ferociously competitive landscape, filled with steadfast legacy brands. But how do you make waves while still staying true to your brand identity? 

Solution

Word of mouth is a powerful thing. But it’s very often reviews in trusted media that in the next step generates the powerful word of mouth recommendations. Knowing this, we arranged for a selected number of key journalists to travel to Amsterdam for an exclusive pre-launch event where OnePlus ensured that the OnePlus 13 got to show all of its good sides in the right settings.
